Meet & Greet? Tell me more!

The Meet & Greet is a great intro to our cat sitting relationship. After setting up a time and day, I come to your home and have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know you and your furry feline(s). During the Meet & Greet, you’ll show me the ropes. This includes: learning about what your cat likes, dislikes, routine, how to gain entry into your home, where the litter box(s) are, where the cat food and treats are kept, any medical concerns, and overall instructions, etc. More importantly, we get to know each other and see if we’ll be a good match. I want you to know and trust me as much as I want to understand your needs.

All and any private information, including information on how to access your home is kept confidential.

What if I have a request that isn’t listed?

I’m happy to discuss it. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to fulfill your special request/need but I’m here to help and more than willing to see if we can make it happen.

What if my cat needs medication or has special needs for their care?

That will be discussed on our initial correspondence(s) and then will be followed up at the Meet & Greet. We both need to be comfortable with what is being asked.

Will other people be with you in my/our home?

Nope! Just me, myself, and I. Unless it is otherwise noted or discussed for a particular reason with your consent. I understand how much trust you are putting in my hands and I fully respect your home, space and your fur babies. I value the love it takes to maintain a home and am completely considerate of the confidence you are giving me. You’re home will be in the same state as you left it.

I’m having a friend/visitor/family member stopping by, should I tell you?

Yes, please! It is important to know everything that will happen when you are gone so there are no surprises. Your friend(s)/visitor(s)/family member(s) are welcome to come and go as you have arranged with them but as someone you are trusting in your home and in the care of your cat(s), I would appreciate to be in the loop of the ongoings while you are away.

What if my trip runs long or my flight is delayed?

I’m only a phone call or text away! I will do my best to accommodate these hiccups as I know travel can be unpredictable at times.

How can I schedule visits?

After our initial correspondences and Meet & Greet, scheduling will be arranged through phone or text with me. I want to make sure we are on the same page and at that time we can discuss if anything has changed or any new information I should know.

Will I get updates while I am gone?

This will also be discussed during the Meet & Greet as well as when booking your scheduled spots. Usually, yes. It will depend on your needs and wants, where you are traveling to (if you are traveling) and what works for you. I do not want to disrupt plans, events, or functions you may be attending and want to be respectful while you are away. I find it is best to work out these details together so we are clear on the expectations and boundaries for the both of us.
